ABOUT LEAH

I'm a wife and mother to two young children, I am originally from the small country town of Keith, but now we live in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.​

My Mission

 

I've always been passionate about fitness and staying active. Now, as a mum, that passion has grown even more because It fuels me with the physical and mental energy I need to be strong, engaged, and full of fun for my family!

 

At The Movement Muma, my mission is to inspire and support women to live their healthiest, happiest lives. I aim to foster a community where women feel strong, confident, and connected, embracing wellness in every aspect of their lives.

My Story

 

I'm Leah, and my journey began when I was on maternity leave and felt lost, not knowing what to do each day. I wanted to get out and about, but I felt unsure of what I wanted to do, how I wanted to move my body, and the people I wanted to spend quality time with.

​

This is the time in my life when I discovered the transformative power of movement and mindfulness. Experiencing firsthand how these practices significantly improved my well-being, I became passionate about sharing these benefits with other women. This passion led to the creation of The Movement Muma, a space where women can find the support and resources they need to thrive.

Expertise

 

I've been in the fitness industry for over 10 years, teaching yoga for over 6 years, and a mother for about 3 years.

Over the years, I've learned so much which has allowed me to bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the unique needs of women and mothers. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with a holistic perspective on health and wellness.
