Feminine Flow - Ayurveda
Tamika, from The Sattva Centre will be sharing her Ayurvedic knowledge to nourish each phase of your moon-cycle. From the foods to eat, for your specific Dosha (body type), to amazing and simple home remedies you can use throughout each phase of your cycle.

About the Event
Throughout the first hour of this event you will learn a wealth of knowledge over a cup of tea while you learn about your unique body and how to personally nourish your moon-cycle.
SOME THINGS YOU'LL LEARN:
~ The 3 Dosha's (body types) and how each Dosha plays such a big role in your cycle as an individual.
~ Helping you understand what you 'personally' should eat to not only suit your body type, but your cycle as well.
~ A lovely recipe of Tamika's; to nourish your body, mind and soul with a warm drink before bed.
~ How to tell when you're fertile, through symptoms your body shows you. The subtle and the obvious.
~ Ways to help avoid PMS. With food, your exercise routine, self-massage and meditation even!
~ Way to help regulate your cycle if it is irregular. Such as the length of the entire cycle, the duration and very importantly, the consistency and colour of the blood. All of this shows you a lot about what is going on in the body.
~ If you're wanting to get pregnant soon or in the future some day. You'll learn what you should do to prepare your body. There is actually time frame (an ideal 3+ months) that you should prepare your body before enduring your body on such an adventure.
~ Plus so much more goodness!
The following hour will be a yin-inspired (feminine) yoga practice, hosted by myself with yoga props to make each pose nourishing for your body, mind & soul. Working closely together with what Tamika has shared with us from the morning.
WHAT TO BRING:
~ Your own yoga mat
~ Water bottle
~ A notebook and pen
~ Your wallets (to pay for a nourishing lunch after yoga)
~ umbrella if it's a bit rainy (for the short walk to lunch)
From 12:30-1:30pm, lunch will be from held just down the road (a short walk), to further nourish yourself. (note this isn't included in the price)
Know that you will take away so much as an 'individual' from this event because not one of your bodies are identical. What you can relate with, isn't necessarily what other women can relate to. But in many ways we can relate with each other and that's what these Feminine Flow gatherings are all about. Learning about yourself and connecting with other women wanting to learn more about your magical bodies. Because that they are - truly magial!
Ayurveda & Yoga
This ticket included 1-hour of morning tea whilst listening to Ayurvedic guest speaker. Followed by 1-hour feminine (yin) yoga class.
