Longwood Institute Hall, 706 Longwood Rd, Bradbury SA 5153, Australia

About the Event

Start the day with an organic cup of tea and nibbles (GF & Vegan friendly).

Learn to paint Australian Native birds with watercolours. Local artist Rebecca Prince will guide you gently through the world of watercolour paints and how to apply them to painting birds in a simplified manner. The style of painting will be quite free and explorative, allowing the varying nuances of the paints to work to your advantage.

Both the yoga, and the art class are suitable for beginners & more advanced students.

WHAT TO BRING FOR YOGA:

  • Your own yoga mat (if you have one)
  • Waterbottle
  • A big, warm blanket
  • Warm socks & shoes, if it's a cool day

WHAT TO BRING FOR PAINTING:

  • All equipment will be supplied, however if you do have your own watercolour paints/brushes, feel free to bring them along and practice with them on the day.

After spending some time painting we will end the afternoon with yoga, hosted by Leah. Taking you through a yin-style yoga class using bolsters and blocks for ultra relaxation & support.
